Not for beginners This amp is great if you have some kind of baser knowledge of amps and their workings. New players are going to be drawn to the low price tag and the high wattage, but honestly if you don’t know your going to get lost in the bells and whistles. There are a lot of different tones to choose from. Well, let’s face it, there are a lot of knobs and buttons. You get the tone yo want, then hit a button and everything is out of whack. Unique concept with good sound I purchased this amp a couple of months ago to go with my new Michael Kelly guitar. I used to use fender amps then went more into acoustic guitars so I didn’t need an amp as often. (Kept a small Peavey amp for that purpose). This amp is quite good with such an endless combination of sounds one can get with all the options and preprogramming up to 12 combinations of sounds.
